I had a great learning experience in my first lesson with Coach Marla. The class was incredibly professional and well-structured, covering a wide range of techniques—including putting my face in the water, breathing properly, pushing off the wall, kicking, and arm movement—all in just one session. I learned so much in my lessons! From day one we confronted our mental blocks of putting our faces in the water and not allowing our bodies to freeze up from fear. You will surprise yourself with what you can do in the water. From them on, each session was nothing but growth. Marla observed everyone's struggles and helped explain the best way to work on our individual hang-ups. By the last class, when I tell you I was lookin' so smooth in that water! Don't know why it took so long to do this. After this summer, I can confidently maneuver in the pool and plan to continue swimming regularly.

I learned so much within my 4 sessions . Marla made sure that i understood the directions thoroughly. She helped me to center myself mentally and overcome my fears and intimidation with the water. I love how she made sure I felt safe and didn't allow me to quit on myself. I love how she continued to tell me speak positively on my abilities. She didn't not allow me to say that I can't...Giving up was not an option. I also loved how she blessed my daughter with a few lessons. I can't wait to take more sessions next summer with her. I pray she gets a blessing with an overflow of clients every year. I feel so good that I now can be in the water and enjoy the fun versus just sitting on the sides with only my toes in the water.
